We had our engagement photos taken on a warm Spring day in April.
I curled my hair, strategically planned and paired neutral colored outfits, and drove the hour to Antelope Island State Park in the passenger seat of Noah’s car. We were on a high on life the entire night and extra in love which made for genuine photos laced with magic and sun flares.
We got to the island a little bit early and had the opportunity to admire the wild bison herds. We sat speechless and the experience felt sort of sacred to me. My heart felt so full to be experiencing life by Noah’s side. There is more depth and more love in my day to day.
We explored the landscape, splashed around barefoot in the water, and ran around through golden hour, past the sunset, and into my favorite time of day: blue hour. We left with a pile of wet jeans in the trunk, a camera roll full of bison videos, and the happiest hearts in all of Utah!
I love almost every photo taken by Ivy (Poise & Ivy Imagery), but picked out some of the most special photos to preserve here on the blog.
Still feels special looking through the photos of the bison. I feel honored to have been able to experience something so incredible here in my home state. <3
